What happens in the quote form

The form prepares a message in your browser. DAT Solutions does not receive your typed details from the form itself, and this website does not save them to a customer database or browser storage. If you continue to WhatsApp or email, your message details are included in a link passed to that service. The enquiry is sent to DAT Solutions only when you send it in your chosen app.

Information in your enquiry

You may choose to send your name, contact details, area or Eircode, property and job details, preferred timing, photos and other information relevant to your request. Only share what is needed for the job. Please do not send passwords, payment card information or unnecessary sensitive details.

How enquiry information is used

Information you send is used to respond to your enquiry, assess the work, prepare a quote and arrange or carry out a service you agree to. Taking steps at your request before a contract, and performing an agreed contract, are the relevant bases for those activities. Information may also be needed for applicable legal obligations or the legitimate handling of service correspondence and queries. The quote form does not sign you up to marketing.

Contact apps and hosting

WhatsApp, your email provider and our email service process information under their own privacy arrangements. These services may process data outside the European Economic Area. This website is hosted through ChatGPT Sites. The hosting platform may process technical information such as IP addresses, security and access logs, or authentication information needed to serve and protect the site. Platform access controls, sign-in and essential platform cookies may also apply. See OpenAI’s privacy policy for the platform’s information.

Cookies and tracking on these pages

The DAT website code does not add advertising pixels, analytics trackers or tracking cookies. Fonts and photographs are served with the website rather than embedded from external services. External contact and information links take you to services with their own policies and cookie settings.

Keeping information

Enquiry correspondence is kept for as long as it is needed to answer the request, manage any agreed work and deal with related questions. The relevant service, accounting, legal or dispute obligations may require some records to be kept longer. Contact us if you would like to ask about information held for a particular enquiry.

Your choices and rights

Depending on the circumstances, you can request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability of your information, and object to certain processing. Where consent is relied on, it can be withdrawn. You can raise a concern with Ireland’s Data Protection Commission. We do not use the quote form for automated decisions or profiling.

Providing enquiry details is your choice. Without enough information about the work or a way to reply, we may not be able to assess or respond to your request.
